This guest has been coming on the show since 2005 and has been our go to expert when it [00:02:00] comes to figuring out number one deficiencies they may be facing, whether that be Omega threes, B12, B vitamins just a wonderful guest on the show today.

And that guest is Corinna Bellizzi, MBA in natural products, industry executive and Omega three expert who has successfully create a new. Nutrition categories pioneers brands and develops educational strategies that disrupts markets as an avid Podcaster she started a new podcast nutrition without compromise To lean into the simple truth that great nutrition and bountiful health are a human right?

She's also the host and creator of another great podcast care more be better You can learn more about her at that website or more about her at ORLOnutrition. com You By clicking on the talk, Corinna, thank you so much for joining me today. I really look forward to our time together.

Corinna Bellizzi: Oh, it's always a pleasure, Kelly.

And I'm excited to dive right in.

Kelly Cappasola: Yeah, absolutely. And the last time you joined me, we shared a groundbreaking [00:03:00] study that was conducted by an international team of researchers that really unveiled a pioneering approach to boosting the production of active B12 in spirulina. And for those of you who missed.

That episode jot this number down. It was episode 553. Listen to it after the show, download it, listen to it when you're working out and later in the week. And you know what, Corinna really excited me. The most was, the alternative to animal based sources of vitamin B12 and really addressing a critical global micronutrient deficiency.

And There's a lot of people who eat differently, whether they be vegan or whether they, be high protein, but it's still a sustainability issue. So what did you think about that? Was that one of your favorite things that kind of came out of that study?

Corinna Bellizzi: As a recent convert to being mostly vegetarian, I've been hyper worried about this particular nutrient.

Vitamin B12 is something that we absolutely need to consume. And we don't have it in our sterilized world. And that's [00:04:00] really essentially the reality because it's something that's created by microbes. Our ancestors might've gotten it from just having dirty hands when they and now we live in the sterile world.

So we have. Basically one source that we typically get our B12 from and that is cow, right? And if you're not eating beef, then you're really likely to be deficient in this particular nutrient. And so having a source that can be reliable for the billion people who are mostly vegetarian around the globe.

And also similarly, that number is about how many people are deficient in vitamin B12. Then we can really see a future in which we can supply something that is scalable, that doesn't have a negative taste or aftertaste, that is viable as the most bioavailable form of B12. So it really is a solution for a broad marketplace beyond just the average consumer too, because so many [00:05:00] of us are deficient.

And this particular nutrient

Kelly Cappasola: come back. I know we're going to talk about, really how many people worldwide are impacted by B12 deficiencies. Because when I think about Vaxa and I think about ORLO nutrition, it's not just about putting a product into a bottle. The. No other company I know would go through the steps of not only staying sustainable, keeping the, even in Iceland where you've been to go and see to the main, factory there, Corinna.

That had to be pretty interesting to be there and see how clean that is kept, how daily they're making sure the trash is removed from the facility. Like it's crazy.

Corinna Bellizzi: Just to have been to spirulina or algae based farms and seeing how things are grown in open ponds and even the aroma that you see or smell near one of those thriving farms.

And then to compare that against the technological way in which we're growing our algae, where there's no aroma, there's no scent. You can literally take the spirulina directly out of the [00:06:00] tanks without doing anything. Just filter it in a little sieve so that the water is Falling out and eat it right off the line without any worry of contaminants, without any worry of oxalates, without any worry of heavy metals because of the fact that it's grown in this contained, pristine environment.

And the fact that we've been able to scale it up, the fact that we're able to continually harvest and minimally process using only things like water or alcohol, again, it's just this is a no brainer.

Kelly Cappasola: Yeah, it's great. And again, listeners, we're going to run out to a break, but go and check them out.

Orlo Nutrition. com. Right back.

Kelly Cappasola: Welcome back, listeners. Again, being joined by great friend of the show, Corinna Bellizzi. She is from Orlo Nutrition. The parent company is VAXA. Now, Corinna, you mentioned something that really sparked my interest before we went to the last break, and I've been hearing a lot about it and people have been asking me about it.

I have to be honest, I haven't done a lot of research. I don't know a [00:08:00] lot about it, but oxalates, what are we talking about when you said oxalate free?

Corinna Bellizzi: Yeah, so many products that you might consume that are vegetarian, like, vegetables, spinach, like all these things can contain oxalates, right?

Oxalates, also known as oxalic acid, are naturally occurring compounds that are in plants. You eat them. So, similar to, let's say, lectins and things like that. Tomatoes, potatoes, things like that, right? That some people think you should avoid because some people are sensitive to lectins. Oxalates are kind of similar in that way.

They can bind to calcium. They can actually increase your risk for things like kidney stones. And part of the challenge of growing an algae species or a cyanobacteria like spirulina, when you're growing them in open ponds, there's is that no matter what you do, you're going to get infiltration of other species of algae.

You're going to get infiltration of pests. You're going to get environmental contaminants and pollutants. These things just come in with the rainwater and it's unavoidable, right? So. [00:09:00] It rains, you have an atmospheric event, or even just moisture in the air or dust that falls into the pond can bring these things in with it.

So because of the fact that we're growing our spirulina in a contained environment, we don't have to worry about other species of algae coming in. We also don't have to worry about sediment and things like that, that can also bring in other contaminants. And we can confidently say that our spirulina is oxalate free.

It's actually on the packaging itself. It's on our promotional material. We can confidently say that. So this is something that we're proud of because we know that you can have all the benefits of spirulina without some of the negative attributes that you might otherwise get.

Kelly Cappasola: Yeah. And you cover a lot of these topics on nutrition without compromise and even care more, be better.

So I highly encourage listeners. If you haven't listened to either of those podcasts, please do yourself a favor and do it because I'm surprised all of a sudden I'll look and I'll be like, Oh, Corinna's talking to a Nobel prize laureate or a Nobel [00:10:00] prize winner today. And I'm just like, that's awesome. It's what makes it so

Corinna Bellizzi: fun.

You know, that's what That's what you love. I may not be a Joe Rogan with over 2, 000 episodes and speaking to some of the best known individuals, but that doesn't mean that I'm not talking to some of the most influential researchers and people who just know a lot about these particular areas.

They're subject matter experts and that's what makes it so fun.

Kelly Cappasola: Today will be no different. The main focus of the show is focus and memory. And I think so many people are looking to be able to add some benefit in their life to help them during the aging process or through stressful situations. When people are stressed, they tend to leach things throughout the body, even important things like B12, B vitamins.

And so I'm excited to really talk about how many people You think in the world or worldwide are impacted by that B12 deficiency?

Corinna Bellizzi: Well, let me ask a question. Are you stressed out, Kelly?

Kelly Cappasola: I was born stressed out. I'm like, Why is [00:11:00] it so bright in here? Like I came out of the womb stress naturally.

Corinna Bellizzi: No, i'm just saying like I think that's the question people need to ask themselves because when it comes to B vitamins One of the first things that your body loses when you're under stress is your B vitamins It's important that we get them in our bodies every single day because they are water soluble They don't they aren't stored.

They don't stick around. And you might joke that, Oh, well, you might get that hyper green P if you have too many B vitamins, but at least you know that you have them in your system and you're just getting rid of excess at that point. Too few people really pay attention to their B vitamin levels, especially during times of stress.

And if you don't get enough of them, then your cortisol levels are going to spike. You're going to have a challenge creating enough ATP energy. That's so important. The cellular energy that keeps you going. So there's no wonder that when you're hyper stressed, you almost have these energy peaks and valleys.

You might be running deer caffeine to try and stir you up and then crashing in the afternoon. So this is something that is, I think the [00:12:00] modern condition. We're all overstressed and overtaxed. We're all juggling chainsaws just to get through our days. So even if you are consuming a vitamin B complex every day, you could still run into moments when you are deficient because they're water soluble and they are used relatively rapidly in your system.

Kelly Cappasola: Oh, absolutely. And I remember like the first health, gem that I learned all those years ago when I started in the industry was I was taught that B vitamin is the happy vitamin. And until I, started to research and really understand, I wanted to why is that? Why do people, equate B vitamins to mood and goodness, all the studies now across the world and, PubMed and everywhere we're looking, it's really backed up the science.

Now, I know that you talked about stress. But what are some other causes that may lead to, B12 deficiency or deficient in other B vitamins?

Corinna Bellizzi: For one, there are contraindications with medicines, right? Certain medicines actually reduce your B12 stores and your vitamin Bs as a group. [00:13:00] Prednisone, metformin, these things are quite popular in this particular time.

you are on an antibiotic, if you consume birth control pills regularly. All of these things affect your body's ability to utilize and absorb vitamin B12. It's something that then needs to be considered with a little extra care. You have to pay attention if you have a prescription drug and it says something like consume this on an empty stomach half hour before eating or three hours after eating.

This is indicated on, for instance, my thyroid medication, I'm supposed to take it on an empty stomach because other things can interfere with it. Just the same particular drug can interfere with your absorption of other nutrients. So sometimes you need to really be sure that you follow the instructions for a particular use to enable you to get the benefit from the foods that you're consuming.

So I think that would be the long and short of it but really just to [00:14:00] understand in the modern era. Many of us are on one medication or more, and there are contraindications that come into our lives that prevent us from being able to get the full benefit from the nutrition that we're putting in our bodies.

Kelly Cappasola: Yeah, absolutely. I read a couple of research papers before the show that said people tend over the age of 55 who take three or more medications are prone to the B vitamin deficiencies such as B2, B6, folate and B12. So again, Karina, I appreciated how you started the conversation talking about ATP, the energies in our cells, because if we're not feeding those cells properly and we're in the aging process and we're taking these other meds, even without being stacked up against some of the other reasons you shared on the deficiency, the aging brain alone is losing natural brain cells each and every day. So I think it's imperative to be able to support it. But I just wanted to go back to one thing real quickly. MTHFR. I know we've talked about it previously on the program.

It's the gene variant you get from [00:15:00] either of your parents or like me, you can get it from both. What do you know about MTHFR?

Corinna Bellizzi: I've heard a couple of naturopathic doctors that I know say something as simple as, when I test my patients, it's like, One in three or one in four that has this issue. And it just means that their bodies are less able to absorb nutrients that aren't in the form that they would typically come from foods.

So if you take a synthetic folic acid, as opposed to methyl folate, then you're not going to get the benefit from that. And at least now people are starting to get more wise to this. Like we need to counsel prenatal women. To be taking food form folate as opposed to folic acid to ensure that they don't run into neural tube defects with their babies.

Right. Yeah. And in those that have documented M-T-H-F-R and insufficiencies that relate to absorption like malabsorption of the B vitamins that they need to be considering taking a methylfolate now these vitamins or something like, [00:16:00] I don't know. four or five times more expensive than the counterpart that's synthetic on the shelf.

But the reason being that it is actually what your body needs and it's more expensive to source because it is in that naturally methylated form. When it comes to something like vitamin B12, you can't just take a cyanocobalamin and expect to get all the benefits from that. Now that cyanocobalamin will be cheap.

Right. It'll be an inexpensive B12. You need to get the methyl development. Looking for that active form of the nutrient is key. At Orlo nutrition, we are focused on providing the most bioavailable version of the nutrients that we provide. So the B12 that is grown in our spirulina, guess what?

You're not going to find that form of B12, the methylated form and spirulina grown in open ponds. And it's, it's something that actually came as a surprise to us. We're not doing anything. out of the, this world on and the growing of our spirulina, but we've optimized this growing conditions. Spirulina grown in [00:17:00] open ponds produces a agonist to B12.

It's basically sits on the receptors of B12, but isn't B12. So 95 percent of that agonist versus 5 percent methylfolate or methylcobalamin rather. And then when you look at our product we're the flip, we're like 95 percent methylcobalamin with 5 percent agonist. And so we put on our labels, the balance of the two, like negate out the part that would sit on the receptor.

And then you've got the true methylcobalamin that is going to be fully supportive for your body. A smattering of other B vitamins are also present in spirulina and they're again in their food form. So they're going to be absorbable by your body, which is really, I think critical.

Kelly Cappasola: Yeah. It's so great.

And again, you can go and learn more. Go to the website. O R L O nutrition. com that's Orlo nutrition. com, especially when we were talking about the pregnancy sector that Karina brought up. You can go and read some wonderful articles. I just saw that they posted two this week. Please go and check that out when you have time, we'll be right back after the break.[00:18:00]

Kelly Cappasola: Welcome back listeners. Again, thank you for finding us and joining us today on forever. Young. If you get lost along the way, if you're working out while you're listening to this podcast or on the radio dial, please know that you can go to forever young radio. com and we store A lot of our shows there.

There's over 550, a lot of great shows that we featured with Corinna Bellizzi of Orlo nutrition. Again, go and check out at five, five, three, if you want to learn about that research study. Now, Karina, before you went to the break, you were talking about the importance, especially with. MTHFR of using methylcobalamin forms versus cyanocobalamin forms.

Now, I just want to speak to that briefly and then we can move on. I recently, I get an injection. They normally have it delivered with methylcobalamin. It works with my system. The compounding pharmacy messed up. They use cyanocobalamin. When you have MTHFR using other forms of [00:20:00] vitamins that are not in that form.

You can Google it, you can research it. It can cause you more issues. So I was feeling brain fog. I was feeling fatigue. I'm not used to feeling that way. I looked at the injection. I found the mistake. So please just know if that's something you're dealing with, or if you think you have it, please use the superior version because absorption is everything.

And you don't want to give your body something that it has to compete against. Now, Karina, since we're talking about focus and memory, can you please just share with our listeners really what role does B vitamins and even B12 play when we're talking about brain function?

Corinna Bellizzi: If you think about from an energy perspective, right out the gate, your brain uses more glucose than just about anything.

It's because your brain literally is using and producing energy constantly. So if you don't have enough B12 in your system this whole effort will be somewhat thwarted. It helps to produce brain chemicals that affect your mood and other functions. And [00:21:00] we know that low levels of B12 not only lead to things like a sense of low energy and fatigue, which can also make you feel depressed.

You mentioned the mood earlier, but it can also create things like forgetfulness. Issues with clarity and other cognitive problems it essentially could almost replicate early signs of dementia because you literally will seem that challenged. And it's just a B vitamin deficiency to your earlier comment about going to methylcobalamin over cyanocobalamin.

I would say this every time you are not necessarily what you eat, you are what you absorb. And so if you want to ensure that you're getting to be your. Your best self from an energy perspective, from a cognitive perspective, and you're spending extra money on a supplement. You want to make sure that that supplement is in a form that your body recognizes and can absorb.

Otherwise, you're wasting your resources. You're wasting your energy [00:22:00] resources and your money resources. So. I just think it's really critical. We also know that aging people have lower levels of B12 and that this can do things like affect the overall size and weight of their brain. So brain shrinkage, they're more likely to lose brain cells.

And that should be terrifying. That is terrifying, right? And so we talk about cognitive decline that is nutrition related. There's some really interesting research that is coming out of the plant based whole food perspective. That is showing the potential to reverse cognitive decline that includes supplementation as a regimen and also includes things like meditation and group work, like ensuring that you have a thriving social life.

But Dr. Dean Ornish is leading this and is showing some incredible positive results and so we know this now we know that we can reverse early, the early signs of Alzheimer's and other mental decline [00:23:00] through health and nutrition practices and B vitamins are going to play a role in there too.

Kelly Cappasola: Adding in a few things like this and being cognizant and maintaining things and giving the body support, I think is extremely important. Now, before we move on, I just want to point out. Icelandic spirulina is different than run of the meal spirulina, just like methylcobalamin is different than your corner store B vitamin or B complex that you're buying out there.

But what can you share with us about Orlo Nutrition's parent company, VAXA, and really what makes Icelandic spirulina different than other run of the mill that you can go and buy in a powder or anything on Amazon? Tell us a little bit more about that.

Corinna Bellizzi: I would encourage people to go back and listen to, I think it was episode 500 when you interviewed Isaac Berzin and he talked about all things related to VAXA.

VAXA is the parent company. VAXA in Icelandic means growth. We are co located with one of the world's most Cutting edge geothermal plants. And this means that we're [00:24:00] using only green energy. We're using their way streams to heat and cool our plant. We're using water that is pristine Icelandic water that has a 99 percent Recapture rate, meaning that the water gets used again and again.

So pristine water that is used in a really circular capacity to ensure that our tax on the environment is as low as possible. We're using literally 1 percent of the typical land and water resources that are used to create a nutrition product. And this enables us to bear a carbon neutral claim. And if we were actually to look at the fact that we're consuming waste stream carbon.

and creating oxygen as a byproduct. There's an argument for carbon negativity, which ultimately means that we are doing everything right, and then throw in a bag of chips. I mean, it is, it is really something that is head and shoulders above the rest. When you grow spirulina in an open pond, You're essentially in a [00:25:00] mass farming operation.

And this means that you are dealing with infiltrants from the environment. You are dealing with intrusion of other species of algae. You are dealing with sediment. And that means that the end product that you produce won't be as clean as what we're producing. You can literally take spirulina right off the line if you want to.

We only process it by freezing and using water. You ultimately have something that is going to be Head and shoulders above everything out there. There's no taste, like literally none. We are able to produce colorants that capture that beautiful, vibrant blue. We're able to produce a green powder from the algae and also one that can be used in baking applications.

We've done this incredible joint venture with a company in Iceland called Broad and Co. And they have as our number three seller. Spirulina bread integrating our spirulina in every slice, you're getting at least 20 percent of your daily value for [00:26:00] vitamin B12. You're getting additional proteins that come from the spirulina and it tastes phenomenal.

We can produce products that taste phenomenal because it has no taste, like literally none. And that is something that you don't see another spirulina.

Kelly Cappasola: No. And what I like is you guys perfected the science before you even went to make. Products. And I just love that about you guys because it's really surrounded by research and studies and like making a wave, like truly being a pioneer in these particular areas.

And the algae based omegas that you guys make as well, wonderful compliment to what we're talking about today when we're talking about brain function and stress, because also very important, especially DHA to get in a very clean level. If you're dealing with that. Because of the science came now these great food grade supplements.

And, at Orlo, you recently launched a new line of products. And I want to focus today on one that's become a real favorite in our household. And that is the Icelandic Ultra Spirulina Focus and Memory [00:27:00] Gummies. Really, what was that formulated to support, Corinna?

Corinna Bellizzi: Your brain. Yeah. I'm opening my bottle right now because every time this comes up, I have to actually

Kelly Cappasola: I took mine.

Can you hear it? Shaky, shaky. I'm on four today. You're only supposed to take two, but they're so darn good. I feel like it can't do, I'll just pee it out. Right. You know, big deal if I don't need it. Your brain

Corinna Bellizzi: will be on, on supercharged because the phosphatidylserine dose that you're getting is incredible.

I personally probably take this twice a day myself, you know, in the mid afternoon, if I'm feeling a little foggy. I'm reaching for this product. And the reason for that is you've got a really solid dose of the phosphatidylserine. This is sharp PS. It's the most researched phosphatidylserine on the market at a clinically significant 100 milligrams per serving.

And this means that you are getting the full benefit of that phosphatidylserine. It's boosted by that. spirulina. So the Icelandic ultra spirulina in there that's bringing you all the B vitamins at the same time means you're going to have [00:28:00] better mental clarity as it is anyway, right? So you get this added benefit of the phosphatidylserine.

It also includes lion's mane standardized to beta glucans So this isn't just a run of the mill lion's mane powder. It's delivered at a full dose as well. So at efficacious, doses. Um, that is so rare, especially in a gummy delivery. I want to say that again, it is rare to get efficacious doses in a gummy delivery.

And we're doing that with not only the phosphatidylserine, but also the lion's mane and the spirulina and, and.

Kelly Cappasola: But, I'm so glad that you brought that up because that is so important because I think a lot of people are like, I took my vitamin today. Okay. Well, what kind of vitamin did it get absorbed?

Did it add value? Did you feel a difference? And that's one of the things that I could speak to. Not only are the focus and memory gummies delicious, like I'm not a fan of the gummies, most of them on the market. They have a weird aftertaste or they have like 20 grams of sugar in it. And [00:29:00] I don't like to incorporate things like this in my life, but I'll tell you, these are some of the best tasting gummies.

I even brought it to supply side this week. I shared it with some of my colleagues. They were on fire about it. So when we come back, I want to really get into. The science about the other constituents that are in this formulation, but listeners, you can go and check them out. That's Orlo nutrition. com.

We're going to give you a code in the next break. They're always so kind to my listeners. So you can test these products out at a little bit of a discount on your first order. So stick with us. You can learn more at forever. Young radio,

Kelly Cappasola: Welcome back listeners. I hope that you're enjoying the show today and you're learning a lot out there. Things that can maybe be standing in the way of why you're feeling these cognitive issues. You're not having energy. Maybe you're just not feeling yourself. Stress is a part of our world, folks. So equipping the body with what it needs to get through so we can be happy, healthy people, be [00:31:00] joyful with our family and friends is instrumental in who we are as our identity.

Again, Corinna Bellizzi is joining us today. We're focusing on not only the technology, but a great line of immune and brain function supplements that they've come out that are food grade. We're focusing on one today that is the focus and memory gummies. Now, Karina, I talked to you about how much I love the taste and how great it was, but what really sets.

The gummies apart from others in the marketplace. Is it the Icelandic spirulina? I mean, what are we looking at here?

Corinna Bellizzi: I think it's two things. For one, it is the Icelandic ultra spirulina. This is an incredible source of nutrition. You get 56 vitamins and nutrients packed into this thing. It's a, chock full of micronutrients, but we're also providing efficacious doses of highly researched ingredients that support your total brain health, calm energy.

So not like you're going to get the jitters to ultimately ensure that you can focus and learn and be at your best. So I [00:32:00] use this on a routine basis, I will tell you that you can take it allopathically. Hey, I just need a little support right now. But if you do consume a product like this every single day, you're going to notice better results with time.

And that is what the research on phosphatidylserine really shows. So that the cumulative effects one month, two months, three months later are even better. So I encourage people to add a product like this to their daily life if they want their metal mental performance to be at its peak. And that's really it.

It's for anybody who wants their mental performance to be at its peak. We formulated this also with gamers in mind, people who want to, be able to perform their best even on a screen to screen combat situation. So it's just, it's a broadly accepted product for people are looking to be at their best mental performance.

Kelly Cappasola: How did you get this to taste so darn good without adding all that sugar that most gummies are putting in there?

Corinna Bellizzi: Well, for one we're not including ingredients that have a terrible [00:33:00] taste Like sugar is the way that you attack taste and something like this You'd put in there masking agents or flavors that help to reduce bitterness That would so often be the case, especially as you start to integrate things like B vitamins, but because ours is from this food source and a flavorless spirulina, we really don't have that issue.

Phosphatidylserine doesn't really have a flavor, nor does an extract of lion's mane. Lion's mane is one of the most innocuous tasting products that there is out there. We've added L theanine again for that calm energy and brain support. And so by formulating with ingredients that don't have a negative flavor profile to begin with, you don't have to over sweeten it.

Most of that sweetness is just coming from the gummy format itself. So it's pectin based. It's tapioca. It's got a little bit of extra sugar, but very little added sugar. So you're looking at, in a per serving basis, two grams of sugar. That's it. Yeah.

Kelly Cappasola: That's nothing, and especially the flavor. So good.

That apple and lime flavorant. However you got that in there. [00:34:00] Goodness. That is so good. Like I told you, I'll take two a day. I tend to do it in the morning because I'm not somebody who drinks coffee or caffeine because I'm naturally caffeinated, but, uh, I mean, yeah, the focus that I can get is just unbelievable.

I feel like I can dial in and, I incorporate other stuff, but I like the delivery system. We've talked about people being pill fatigued on the program, and even your algae omegas, there's such a small pill. They're not those big honking fish oil pills of the past that people used to take.

So for me, I generally will take my Orlo DHA and then I'll have a couple of the focus and memory gummies maybe a half hour later, cause I'm giving my brain fat first and then I have these and it seems to set me up because I generally fast till about one or two o'clock in the afternoon. I think a lot of people are doing that out there.

Corinna Bellizzi: I often don't eat before two, so I'm right there with you. Yeah. Two grams of sugar isn't going to make you crash. Like that's the thing, right? You can stay in your keto state, I think, even with two grams of sugar.

Kelly Cappasola: We talked about that you made this for gamers in mind and different people or anybody just [00:35:00] wanting to enhance cognition and just wanting to fill it, but just give us a little bit more of who this product would be for.

Yeah.

Corinna Bellizzi: I think it's for anybody who is looking to have that edge with their focus and attention. I give it to my son who's nine years old. He has ADHD and he's an interesting case because he most days says he loves it and he'll come down and actually he gets home from school around two or three in the afternoon and he'll come down to my office and ask for this because it's always on my desk.

So it helps him to actually focus for doing his homework. And I love that. I love that. I can give him a healthy would be treat that he actually looks at it like a tree, but that it helps him to focus, and if you have a child who is running into those sorts of challenges, just understand this, like everything in this is safe for all ages.

I had zero concern giving him an adult dose of this product. Phosphatidylserine, l theanine, lion's mane. We eat lion's mane mushrooms in my home. Nothing in here would be contraindicated for him. [00:36:00] And I think that's a powerful statement on its own. So, you could take this as young as his age, like a school aged kid on the, all the way up through your centenarian years.

Kelly Cappasola: And that's how, you know, they taste good too, because if they don't taste good. No kids going to ask for it twice. We've all seen that a time or two, you know, so, really, really impressed by it. And again, Karina, I really appreciate how well you take care of our listeners. Our listeners can try the focus in memory gummies by going to orlo nutrition.com. If you put in the code forever, you're going to get a 20 percent discount off your first order. And again, that code is all uppercase forever. Check out it won't work on subscription. So just know that. But again, please go and check out these products and incorporate them. It's a fun way to be able to incorporate these things into your day to day. Because these are things that you can start to feel. We take a lot of supplements. We don't necessarily feel, but when I think of Orlo nutrition's [00:37:00] new line of immune products and brain and focus and memory products, I look at it more as a food.

I don't really look at it as your run of the mill vitamin in a sense. And please spend some time that the website is O R L O nutrition. com again. Orlo nutrition. com. We've put all this on our weekly highlight page at forever young radio. com. Corinna again, what would you like to leave really with the conversation that we had today?

Our words of motivation for people who are maybe totally overwhelmed and can't keep up with the rat race in life.

Corinna Bellizzi: Well, for one, I would come to you with empathy. Understand you are not alone. We live in a society and culture that asks a lot of us. Um, if you can find a crutch or two that support your journey along the way, whether that be something like the nutrition support offered by a focus gummies or something like a foundational habit that you just feel like brings helps you center through the stress.

Then I think that's really critically [00:38:00] important for your health as an individual. Now, Kelly always reminds you that we give you discount promotions on our products. This is one element that can help you be your best and breathe through the stress. But I would also just counsel you may have. A lot of these stresses come in from the outside.

And I, if we can just retain a moment and do a breathing exercise now, and then when we realize that we're getting all of these stresses coming in from the outside, then guess what? We can center ourselves and all of the other things that we're doing to support our health journey, be it the supplements or the meditation routines, whatever it is, they're going to be more effective.

So. Work to reduce your stress load, make the external stuff external, push it out of your body and you'll be a happier, healthier person. And that's what we all want.

Kelly Cappasola: Really makes my heart happy that you brought that up. And again, the name of what we focused on are the focus and memory gummies. They're apple and lime.

Go and check it out. But I know we weren't going to talk about it, but look at the bars too. Those are so [00:39:00] good. I have to talk about it cause I've been on it. I've always not liked, some of the protein bars out there in the world. I can't have certain ones cause I can't do certain ingredients.

But. Holy Moses. When I tried that one back in March before it even went to the market, and then I've been able to incorporate it into my day to day or even the wonderful immunity sprays, those immunity, that immunity spray is fantastic because people who can't swallow and many things because of acid reflux, they're now able to get it because of that delivery system.

So I really love what you're doing there, Karina, and I appreciate how much. The consumer and science is put at the front of anything that you're doing at Orlo Nutrition.

Corinna Bellizzi: Oh, thank you so much. One thing I will say, if you can join our email list, we are doing some flash promotions on the bars from time to time where you can even get a bar for free to try.

So please join our email list to stay apprised of promos that we're running on the site as well. And yeah,
